Summary of Business to Business Representative:
(Marietta & Athens, OH and Surrounding Markets)

The primary responsibility of a B2B Sales Representative is to sell, in a competitive environment, to new and current clients at or above the personal sales revenue quota/target assigned by management. As such, the position calls for individuals that can excel in developing and closing new and existing opportunities for the technology solutions we offer.

This position requires a strong drive to succeed, excellent listening skills as well as superior presentation, analytical and negotiating abilities. Additionally, successful candidates need to be computer and software literate.

You will build your book of business by identifying and selling to new clients while maintaining relationships with existing ones.  (Yes, you will start with some current clients’ accounts.  Please keep in mind that Poynter’s has been around for 67+ years.)

You will contribute to the team’s continued success by discovering needs and presenting solutions.  We offer an extensive array of office technology solutions.  [e.g., copiers, printers, scanners, computers, telephony, unified communications, Managed IT, cyber security, interactive displays, …]

Detailed list of responsibilities includes but are not limited to the following:

− Sell our products and document solutions to new and existing clients.
− Effectively implement our proven sales strategy through a seven-phase process.
− Build and manage a strategic territory and its accounts.
− Effectively and aggressively manage all aspects of a complex sales cycle.
− Establish a qualified pipeline of business and maintain an accurate forecast in a sales automation system.
− Grow business through new customer acquisitions and cross-selling to an existing customer base.
− Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
− Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

− Successful sales experience providing business solutions is desirable.
− Excellent presentation, writing and communication skills.
− Strong analytical abilities as well as being proficient at listening, negotiating and persuading.
− Highly competitive. Driven to succeed. A self-starter.
− A clean driving record with a valid driver’s license is imperative.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Administrative Assistant in Athens, OH. This position will be
the right-hand of the Branch Manager. The chosen candidate will actively help with the various
day-to-day responsibilities of running a successful satellite office of the Marietta corporate
headquarters.
